Our Homeschool Club is the perfect place for kids aged 8–12 years old to explore the wonders of life sciences in a unique, hands-on learning environment.

At Clint’s Reptile Room, your child will connect with other kids who share their passion for animals while spending plenty of time holding and interacting with our amazing reptile ambassadors. Each session is packed with fun, engaging lessons designed to spark curiosity and build knowledge about the incredible world around us.

For adults aged 16 and up, Clint will also be teaching a Continuing Education course, so there’s something for everyone!

Join us for an exciting 10-week after-school club at Clint’s Reptile Room!

Your child will have the opportunity to dive into the world of reptiles with hands-on lessons that are both super educational and super fun! From feeding to holding and interacting with a variety of species, each session promises a unique and engaging experience.

If you have a child older than 15 who would like to join, they are more than welcome, though please note that some activities may feel juvenile for older participants as this course was designed for students 8-12 years old. However, there will be no exceptions for students born in 2017 or before.

For adults aged 16 and up, Clint will also be teaching a Continuing Education course, so there’s something for everyone!

Are you ready to dive into the wild world of Life Sciences?  Clint Laidlaw, PhD, is leading an exclusive class (Only 24 Seats) designed just for adults (ages 16-105) who are eager to learn, explore, and get hands-on with some of nature’s most fascinating creatures.

This isn’t your average classroom experience. Clint’s passion and expertise will take you on a journey through the captivating world of life sciences, from the intricate biology of cells to the broader ecosystems they shape. You will have plenty of opportunities to interact, ask questions, and even get up close with the animals. Whether you’re a lifelong science lover or just curious to learn more, this class is the perfect blend.

Rock Canyon is home to some of Utah’s best herping opportunities, with amazing chances to see native reptiles in their natural habitat. Campers will enjoy hands-on, field-based learning experiences, covering topics like: Adaptation and Habitats, Phylogenetics and Reptile Diversity, and Insect Pinning and Sustainable Herping

Most guests spend anywhere between 45 minutes and 2 hours at Clint’s Reptile Room. We have over 60 different species of animals to get to know. Walk through quickly, or get a more thorough experience when you take pictures with, hold and even feed our friendly critters.

What time should I arrive?2022-07-02T03:08:06+00:00

We open promptly at 5:00 pm and close at 9:00 pm. Plan on staying at least an hour, but no appointments are necessary. Come whenever you’d like, and stay as long as you’d like!

Street parking is available right outside Clint’s Reptile Room, but this usually fills up fast.

A large parking lot is available just south of Clint’s Reptile Room at 300 South Main St. Springville.

Restrooms are available, and offer some fun easter eggs if you follow our YouTube channel.

Is Clint’s Reptile Room Wheelchair Accessible?2022-07-04T15:43:16+00:00

Clint’s Reptile Room is an open concept single floor space, so most wheelchairs should be able to navigate the entire Room.
